Greater Oklahoma City Asian Chamber Appoints First Executive Director

Cassie Kalancha will serve as the organization’s first executive director.

The Greater Oklahoma City Asian Chamber of Commerce recently announced Cassie Kalancha as the organization’s first executive director.

As the executive director, Kalancha will oversee the day-to-day operations of the OKC Asian Chamber of Commerce and work closely with the board of directors to shape the organization’s vision and strategic direction.

Kalancha previously served as one of OKC Asian Chamber’s founding board members and as the education program chair. She resigned from the board of directors to represent the chamber in a full-time capacity and started her new role on May 1.

“Cassie is an outstanding servant leader who cares deeply about our beloved city and the economic growth of our community,” said Scarlet Le-Cao, president of The Greater Oklahoma City Asian Chamber of Commerce. “We are confident that she will be a great ambassador to advance our chamber’s mission, and we look forward to the positive impact Cassie’s leadership will bring to the organization and the business community.”

Kalancha recently earned a Master of Education in adult and higher education – talent development and an e-Learning certification at the University of Central Oklahoma. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and organizational studies with a minor in German from the University of Oklahoma in 2016.

“As a talent and development professional, I’ve dedicated my professional life to empowering and educating others so they may lead more meaningful lives,” said Cassie Kalancha, the new executive director of The Greater Oklahoma City Asian Chamber of Commerce. “My passion for empowering businesses and advocating for the needs of the Asian community aligns perfectly with the mission and values of the Asian Chamber of Commerce.”
