OKC State of the Economy Featured National Economist

Dr. Bill Conerly, a business-focused economist with more than 30 years studying the economy, spoke at the recent Greater Oklahoma City Chamber State of the Economy.

In addition, the event also featured a panel discussion from several regional economists on the issues regarding the economic growth of Oklahoma. The panelists spoke about the outlook for major sectors of OKC’s economy and efforts to protect OKC’s economy against recession.
Panel members included Robert Dauffenbach, Ph.D., Senior Associate Dean for Economic Development and Impact, and Director of Center for Economic and Management Research at the University of Oklahoma; Russell Evans, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Economics, and Executive Director of the Steven C. Agee Economic Research & Policy Institute at Oklahoma City University’s Meinders School of Business, and Mark Snead, Ph.D., Economist, and President of RegionTrack.
